Overview Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for a part-time Shuttle Driver to join our team at The Lodge at Geneva in Geneva, Ohio. As a Driver, you will be responsible for driving non-CDL vehicles, safely transporting guests between various destinations on and off our property. Unit Description The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake boasts breathtaking views with its location on the southern shore of Lake Erie, near Geneva State Park in the heart of Ohio Wine Country. We offer our team members discounts and referral bonuses.
Responsibilities - Safely transport guests and team members, following regular assigned routes and schedules and accurate maintain passengers census records
- Ensure the van is properly maintained and report any mechanical or safety problems to management; incidents or accidents are immediately reported to management
Qualifications - Must have a valid drivers license.
- No high school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of three years' driving experience required
- Able to safely operate and drive a van and maintain a safe atmosphere on the vehicle at all times
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written communication
- Driving roles at this location require additional DOT (Department of Transportation) screening to comply with Ohio DOT regulations.
Physical Requirements - Sufficient vision that is not restricted in the performance of duties, day or night
- Able to sit for long periods, and ability to stand and bend
- Ability to speak clearly and communicate well and hear the traffic and security radio
