Loan Officer Assistant Location: Bridgewater, NJ Finomus Home Loans is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Loan Officer Assistant. This vital role will be responsible for efficiently managing and processing loan applications, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients. *** This is not a remote job, you will be asked to come into the Bridgewater, NJ office*** Responsibilities: As the Loan Officer Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Assist Loan Officers in preparing, disclosing, and managing mortgage loans
• Register broker loans efficiently and accurately.
• Review and analyze borrower tax returns and financial documentation.
• Input, update, and manage loan files in Encompass software.
• Maintain timely communication with Loan Officers, clients, and third-party vendors.
• Ensure loan documentation meets compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Provide administrative and operational support to help meet team goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications related to mortgage lending a plus.
• 3 years of experience in loan officer assistant or similar role within the mortgage industry.
• Proficiency in Encompass software is required.
• Ability to review and analyze tax returns and borrower documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 annually based on experience.
