We are seeking a dedicated Telehealth Gastroenterology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with an active telemedicine patient panel to join our innovative team. This role is crucial in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals while delivering exceptional patient care. As a Telemedicine Preceptor, you will have the opportunity to: Engage students in patient consultations using your existing telehealth panel through 3-way HIPAA-compliant video calls. Define and set clear goals for the practicum, aligning them with essential learning outcomes for students. Mentor students, helping them connect their theoretical knowledge to practical application in a real-world context. Employ effective teaching strategies that support student achievement of educational objectives. Evaluate and track student progress in relation to their learning goals. Provide constructive feedback to promote student development and improvement. Work collaboratively with academic faculty to assess and evaluate student performance.
