Technical Writer

Location : Hybrid in Beaverton, OR (Onsite Monday through Thursday; Remote Friday)

Duration : 6 months to start

Pay : up to $41.95/hour, DOE (W2 and options for benefits)

Planet Interactive is looking for a Technical Writer to join our well known retail brand on a 12 week contract. This role is 40 hours per week and will be hybrid in Beaverton, OR.

Responsibilities:

• Create, manage, and maintain technical knowledge assets
• Collaborate with subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and create technical engineering knowledge assets
• Develop and maintain a library for knowledge assets in SharePoint Online
• Evaluate existing knowledge assets and develop innovative methods for improvement
• Develop knowledge asset templates improving the user ability to find and use specific content
• Transition and update existing knowledge assets to a new library in collaboration with a global team
• Collaborate in developing and implementing website and knowledge asset administration and governance policies and procedure

Qualifications:

• About 4 years of technical writing experience
• Well-versed in Microsoft Sharepoint and Adobe Creative Cloud
• Experience with structuring/set up a governance process
• Collaborative, communicates well, and possesses influencing skills
