Job Description
Harrison County Hospital is seeking to hire an experienced Surgery Scheduler for the Orthopedics Physician Practice.
Position available: Full-time, Days, 40 hrs/wk (8a-4:30p)
The Surgery Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and scheduling surgical procedures, verifying insurance benefits, and obtaining prior authorizations for procedures and diagnostic testing. This role serves as a liaison between physicians, patients, hospital departments, and insurance companies to ensure seamless care coordination and billing compliance.
