Sales Manager – Outside Sales

Location: Houston, TX (Texas Gulf Coast Region)

Type: On-Site

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Flexibility Required)

About the Role

We’re on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to spearhead business development efforts for a growing portfolio of defense and maritime safety products. You’ll play a critical role in strengthening client relationships, expanding market share, and championing customer success across the Texas Gulf Coast region.

In this on-the-ground leadership role, you’ll represent a globally recognized manufacturer of life-saving equipment, PPE, boats, davits, and maritime safety technologies. Your mission? To drive strategic sales initiatives and ensure exceptional service delivery for key defense clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all sales operations within your designated territory across the Texas Gulf Coast.
  • Promote a comprehensive product suite to defense clients, service providers, and shipyard operators.
  • Foster long-term relationships by offering tailored solutions and strategic agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Sales, Service, and Finance teams to align goals and resolve client needs.
  • Build and execute sales strategies aligned with annual targets and revenue growth plans.
  • Track KPIs, participate in monthly sales meetings, and deliver timely progress reports.
  • Offer market intelligence and CRM insights to senior leadership.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, reinforcing company values and customer-centric standards.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of B2B Outside sales experience; experience in maritime or defense sectors strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in building and sustaining client relationships.
  • CRM proficiency and data-driven sales planning skills.
  • Top-notch communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout the Texas Gulf Coast.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Valid driver’s license required.
