Join Our Team as a Production Operator - 2nd Shift!

Location: Phoenix, AZ 85040
Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Pay: Up to $18 per hour
Engagement Type: Contract

About the Role:

As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating equipment to blend, mix, package, and transport chemicals. Your goal will be to ensure the highest quality products at the lowest possible cost while meeting customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, start, and run machinery according to safety procedures and ISO standards.
• Weigh and insert ingredients into machinery or ensure correct ingredients are delivered.
• Monitor production and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Operate machinery to handle materials and ensure conformance with standards.
• Take samples to the lab for evaluation and make necessary batch adjustments.
• Perform machine cleaning and maintain data integrity.
• Document work completed, including logs and reports.
• Participate in training and continual improvement processes.
• Follow all safety and work regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: At least 1 year in plastics, colorant, mixing, extrusion, blending, industrial operations, mechanical, and problem-solving.
• Skills: Intermediate manual dexterity, quantitative skills, reading/comprehension, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Physical/Environmental Demands:

• Regularly stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 55 pounds.
• Use of safety equipment as required.
• Exposure to various environmental conditions and chemicals.
