Part-Time Weekend Nanny – Special Needs | Jupiter, FL

A warm and busy family in Jupiter, FL is seeking a part-time weekend nanny to care for their 8-year-old daughter, who is autistic and nonverbal. She uses a communication device, walks independently, and prefers to be carried, so applicants must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. This is a long-term, live-out position ideal for someone energetic, safety-conscious, and experienced with special needs, particularly ABA therapy.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Coverage: 3 weekends per month
• Guaranteed Hours: 25 hours/week
• Start Date: ASAP (before June 20 or after July 18)
• Overnight Stay: Available for local candidates if needed

Compensation & Benefits: Rate: $30–$35/hour (paid in cash)

Benefits (after 30 days):

• 1 week paid vacation
• 2–4 sick days
• Paid major holidays off

Responsibilities:

• Manage child’s daily routine
• Coordinate structured, age-appropriate activities
• Assist during family outings, including boat trips
• Handle meals and bedtime routines

• Ensure a safe and nurturing environment

Ideal Candidate:

• Fit, active, and energetic
• Background in ABA therapy or experience with special needs
• Proactive, dependable, and safety-minded
• Comfortable with large dogs (two labs in the home)
• CPR/First Aid certified
• Driving required (family car provided)
• Provide 3-5 professional references
• Must have U.S. work authorization
