Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established medical device manufacturer in the Youngsville area who is looking for a Medical Device Quality Inspector to join their team. This is a great contract to hire opportunity working from 7am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
Inspect incoming medical device components, raw materials, and sub-assemblies using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges).
Perform final product inspections to verify compliance with specifications and regulations.
Accurately document inspection results per Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Identify/report non-conformances and support root cause investigations.
Maintain inspection records and assist in audits.
Work with Quality Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve quality issues.
Requirements:
Preferred: Experience in regulated medical device manufacturing.
2+ years of experience in incoming and final product inspections.
Knowledge of cGMP, ISO 13485, and quality standards.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and specs.
Proficient with inspection tools (optical comparators, microscopes, calipers).
Detail-oriented, independent, and able to work in a fast-paced setting.
