Position: Manager, Energy Advisory (EA)

JLL's EA team seeks a Manager to provide strategic, financial, and technical advisory services across energy, transportation, and water infrastructure sectors. You will be a key member of our client-facing team, working on projects valued from $25 million to $2 billion.

Qualifications:

• MBA and background in architecture or construction, with business and technical expertise in built environments.
• Experience in developing and implementing power and energy infrastructure projects, such as microgrids, renewables, distributed energy, or EV charging infrastructure.
• Technical degree in economics or engineering.
• Strong project management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Advising clients on financial structures, procurement strategies, and project delivery methods including non-recourse financing, P3s, and municipal/corporate financings.
• Participating in all project phases from planning to contract negotiation.
• Conducting business case analyses, developing financial models, and optimizing project technical and operational aspects.
• Providing sustainability and energy efficiency consulting, risk management, asset performance monitoring, and restructuring.

Location:

On-site in Chicago, IL, or Washington, DC.

Compensation:

Estimated total annual compensation: $170,000 – $210,000. This range is an estimate and depends on various factors including experience and location.
