As we grow our creative and marketing capabilities, we’re looking for a highly versatile Graphic Design & Content Associate to support our team across design, content creation, and campaign execution. This role is based in New York City with a hybrid schedule in our Manhattan office.

Primary Responsibilities:

You will be instrumental in translating Mugsy’s visual identity into compelling, conversion-driven creative assets. Working closely with our Art Director, you’ll:

Design and Produce Marketing Emails

  • Build visually engaging and on-brand marketing emails using Adobe Photoshop and Figma. You’ll be responsible for ideating layouts, integrating product imagery, and ensuring consistent design language across campaigns.
  • Assist with the Email Lifecycle Design Process : From promotional launches to retention flows, you’ll contribute to concepting, designing, and optimizing a range of email types.
  • Collaborate on Performance Optimization : Work with Retention agency and eCommerce teams to analyze performance data (open rates, CTR, conversions), iterate designs accordingly, and test creative variables (like CTA placement, image hierarchy, or subject line visuals). Adhere to tight deadlines while juggling multiple versions of creative for A/B testing and personalization. 

Ad Creative & Social Media Assets: 

  • Design and deliver high-performing ad creatives for Meta and other platforms, and create graphics for organic and paid social content. 
  • Maintain Brand Consistency : Ensure that all email assets align with Mugsy’s tone, voice, and visual style, maintaining a polished and cohesive look across all customer touchpoints.
  • Data Analysis : Work alongside Creative Strategist to analyze paid social assets and optimize performance of static ads in Mugsy’s ad account. 

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Photoshoot Production:
  • Assist creative strategist in planning and organizing editorial, lifestyle, and e-commerce photoshoots—sourcing props, managing shot lists, and helping ensure shoots run smoothly.
  • Content Publishing & Asset Management:
  • Prepare and organize visual assets for email, social, and site use. Ensure proper file management, version control, and cross-team coordination.
  • Collaborative Campaign Work:
  • Work with the broader marketing and creative team to brainstorm new campaign ideas, support product launches, and jump in where needed across channels.

What You’ll Need:

  • Location: Must be NYC-based and able to work from our Manhattan office 2–3 days/week.
  • Design Expertise: Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator (non-negotiable), with experience using Figma for layout, collaboration, and asset prep.
  • Versatility: Able to toggle between projects quickly and contribute across visual mediums—static, motion, email, social.
  • 2–4 Years of Experience: Ideally in a fast-paced brand or agency setting, with a portfolio that reflects a solid mix of digital design.
