JOB DESCRIPTION: Medical group in eastern North Carolina is seeking a Gastroenterologist PA/NP to join a satellite practice location. Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30-5:30. Candidate requirements: Availability to take infrequent outpatient phone calls one weekend per month Must be able to work independently (under indirect supervision) Have at least one year of post-graduate experience as a provider in a pulmonary, urgent, immediate, emergency, primary care, or related setting Must have experience and knowledge of an EMR system, voice dictation (Dragon) and strong documentation skills Some of the outstanding benefits you will enjoy include: Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability insurance 401(k) with generous company matching contributions Profit Sharing Program Flex Spending program Generous PTO accrual that starts on your first day HOSPITAL: Our private practice is multi-specialty, located in Eastern, NC, with 12 offices located in and around the area. Our 100 providers and over 620 employees provide services for thousands of patients in a 29 county region. Some of our doctors are on staff at a 900 + bed level one trauma center and the primary teaching hospital for the local School of Medicine.
