Responsibilities See patients in the outpatient clinic and hospital setting Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to Gastroenterology patients under the supervision and responsibility of a Physician Participate in education development and growth of DHMG Gastroenterology Division Work closely with the administrative and clinical directors for the GI Service Program to ensure quality and regulatory compliance in provision of clinical services Qualifications PA Requirements: Degree as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program Must hold and maintain: a.) AZ Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants License, b.) NCCPA - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant. Valid DEA registration. Must meet credentialing criteria for medical staff NP Requirements: Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) Graduate of accredited program for Nurse Practitioners Compact state or Arizona RN license Arizona Advanced Practice Nurse license Must hold and maintain National Certificate as a nurse practitioner in area of specialty under AZ regulations: a.) NP-AACN, b.) NP-AANP, c.)
