Freight Broker Container/Dyage About the Role: As a Freight Broker Container/Dryage, your main responsibility will be to facilitate the transportation of goods by coordinating with shippers, carriers, and customers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of freight by managing the logistics and documentation involved in container and dryage shipments. Minimum Qualifications: Proven experience as a Freight Broker or in a similar logistics role. Strong knowledge of container and dryage transportation processes and regulations. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using transportation management systems and software. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Experience in working with international shipments and customs procedures. Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools, such as TMS and EDI systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and industry trends. Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage the transportation of goods by working closely with shippers, carriers, and customers. Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers to ensure cost-effective and efficient transportation solutions. Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues or delays that may arise. Prepare and process necessary documentation, such as bills of lading and customs paperwork, to ensure compliance with regulations. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers to foster long-term partnerships and drive business growth.
