Responsibilities
Financing Specialist (Digital Infrastructure) (SG Americas Securities LLC, New York, NY)
Participate in the origination, structure, and execution of syndicated loan transactions for middle-market
companies and projects to support leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, refinancings, development,
construction, and restructurings. Originate and execute transactions in the Technology, Media and Telecom
sectors focusing on Digital Infrastructure (data centers, fiber and wireless towers). Fully execute
transactions, including developing commercial proposals and capital structuring, due diligence, preparation
of credit papers, obtaining necessary credit approvals, negotiation of term sheets, commitment/support
letters and credit documentation, the subsequent syndication phase, and closing and funding. Ensure all
relevant risks are identified and addressed. Collaborate with Associates and Analysts within a deal team to
ensure that a high quality of output is produced within the deadlines established. Liaise with third party due
diligence providers including Lender Technical Advisors, Appraisers, Insurance Consultants, and Marker
Study providers. Collaborate and coordinate with other activities of the bank, with a view towards offering
and providing the best financing solutions and execution to client base. Monitor the credit risks inherent
within the new business activity and the existing portfolio for which primary responsibility is given.
Proactively generate new business opportunities as appropriate. Contribute to the development of the
necessary strategies and actions that address the evolving market and competitive challenges and
opportunities in both the nearer and longer-terms, to include anticipation of potential business opportunities
and preparation of pitches to clients. Maximize the cross-selling and ancillary revenue contribution from the
portfolio companies assigned. Use strong communication skills (written and verbal) to promote team
cohesiveness and morale within a high-pressure, work-intensive, and deadline-sensitive work environment;
be an advocate of the bank and a positive role model for junior bankers; assist with the training and
development of junior bankers. Requires up to 10% domestic travel required for client meetings.
Telecommuting may be permitted up to 2 days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to SG
Americas Securities, LLC, 245 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10167. Salary: $176,571 - $300,000 per year.
Profile required
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or U.S. equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or related field,
plus 5 years of professional experience as a Financial Analyst, Investment Analyst, or any
occupation/position/job title involving origination, structure, and execution of syndicated loan transactions
at a global financial institution.
In lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience, the employer will accept a Master's degree or
U.S. equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or related field plus 3 years of professional experience as a
Financial Analyst, Investment Analyst, or any occupation/position/job title involving origination, structure,
and execution of syndicated loan transactions at a global financial institution.

Must also have the following: 3 years of professional experience working with financial and capital market
concepts to conduct investment banking and advisory functions; 3 years of professional experience
conducting research and analysis for value creation; 3 years of professional experience conducting financial
analysis, valuation, and financial modeling including rating agency framework; 3 years of professional
experience developing transaction marketing materials including pitch books and rating agency
presentations; 3 years of professional experience executing financial transactions including commercial
proposals, capital structuring, due diligence, credit agreements, term sheets, and commitment letters; 3
years of professional experience building financial models (including LBO or Project Finance methodology);
and 3 years of professional experience performing financial calculations (including profitability, capital
consumption, counterparty risk, and default loss).

Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience.
