Job Description

PJI Law, PLC, an award-winning law firm in Fairfax, Virginia, is growing and looking for another kind, smart, and motivated attorney to join our wonderful team. We are looking for a full-time, Virginia-licensed attorney with civil litigation and trial experience.

This position is ideal for an attorney who would enjoy the opportunity to interact with clients daily, to design and execute strategies for their cases, and to have significant independence in handling their caseload while at the same time having a strong support system from an excellent team of attorneys. Our firm exists to help those who wish to obtain legal protection and security for their families, sometimes in the wake of a personal, professional, or financial loss, and this position is crucial in allowing us to effectively help them.

Our firm has a reasonable billable requirement, and at the same time provides our attorneys with the opportunity to exceed requirements and grow their income, if they wish. We like our attorneys to focus on doing what they do best, which is excellent legal work. Therefore, we do not expect our attorneys to be responsible for any business development, attending bar association mixers, or engaging in marketing for the firm, unless they want to. We do not expect our attorneys to file documents, troubleshoot printers, or write blogs. We are well-staffed and are proud to have a happy team, a structure that gives our attorneys access to a stable, reliable and growing support team for assistance. This allows our attorneys to focus on their core talents and work efficiently.

Our firm is professionally managed, and our office is a team environment. You will be working with other dedicated members of our team who work hard to get the job done right, who take pride in their work, and who support each other through thick and thin. In 2022, 2023, and 2024 we earned the prestigious “Great Place to Work” certification, with an average of 99% of our employees over those three years praising our firm as a great place to work in an anonymous third-party survey. Our approach has allowed us to succeed and build a loyal client base that has sustained our strong growth and has earned us various awards as well as enthusiastic client reviews.

About Company

We are a forward-thinking, well-managed organization that was founded in 2010 on the idea that having a happy team and having happy clients are interconnected goals. This is a concept that we see in many industries but far too rarely in the legal profession.

See, we listen to our team members. Much of the time, we’re working with them one-on-one to help them reach their personal and professional goals. Other times, we’re listening to their suggestions on how to improve the firm. So many of the changes we’ve made that have catapulted our growth have resulted directly from feedback we’ve actively solicited from every single person here. It is no surprise we maintain an incredible retention rate!

In order to preserve the integrity of our culture, we are selective in our efforts to identify good people who are also motivated professionals. If this is what you’re looking for, we would love to hear from you.
