Position Overview: Are you an aspiring insurance professional eager to break into the world of sales? We are seeking an enthusiastic Associate Underwriter to join our transportation team. This entry-level position is designed to provide you with a solid foundation in underwriting, setting the stage for a successful career in insurance sales.

• Learn the fundamentals of underwriting by assisting in the evaluation of transportation risks, including trucking, business auto, and commercial auto
• Support senior underwriters in analyzing risk factors and determining appropriate placement within market appetites.
• Develop strong relationships with carriers and clients through effective communication and service.
• Gain hands-on experience by reviewing and processing applications, endorsements, and renewals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct market research to understand trends and opportunities within the transportation sector.
• Potential to participate in training programs designed to prepare you for a future in sales.

Required: High School Diploma/GED and 1+ years of related experience.

• Interest in pursuing a career in insurance sales.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn insurance-related software.
